How Our Passion for Security Started
Code 3 Security started in 2018 in Plano, Texas as a private investigation company. The owners of Code 3 Security saw a need to use their knowledge to help businesses and people navigate both criminal and civil matters while showing compassion, demonstrating professionalism, and treating people with dignity. Word quickly spread and the community reached out to Code 3 Security and asked if they could provide the same service in other areas. Since then, we added what is now our two largest and fastest-growing services, security guards and monitoring services. We proudly now offer service throughout the State of Texas.

Yes! We use several different technology platforms to monitor guard activity live throughout the day. Through technology we are able verify our guards are onsite and are meeting our clients’ needs. We also us AI technology to monitor our patrol routes to ensure we are using the best routes and allocating appropriate time to each client.
Yes! We use state of the art technology to provide custom checkpoints, site profiles, daily reports and security reports to the majority of our customers. Our daily reports are color coded and simple to read. All activity and pictures are date and time stamped with GPS locations, allowing you to be confident of the information you received is accurate.
We provide both unarmed and armed guards.
Unarmed guards (Level II)- do not carry any weapons at all, including non-lethal weapons, such as batons, stun guns, tasers and handcuffs.
Armed guards (Level III) carry firearms and are also permitted to carry batons, handcuffs and other non-lethal tools in addition to firearms. Armed guards are required to complete a higher level of training and certification to ensure proper use of a lethal weapon.
Yes, but they can only perform a citizen’s arrest. Local police are contacted immediately after completing a citizen’s arrest, after which suspects are transferred into local police custody.
